Sheri Johnson New Contributor to MLM News Blog Shares News about M2C Global

I am honored that Mark has asked me to contribute to the MLM News Blog. I am no stranger to MLM aka Network Marketing. I have spent the last 20 years in and out of the industry. Almost a year ago someone anonymously sent me a sample or two of A.C.T. Energy Drink and I pretty much drank it first chance I got. I found out I loved it and that is was different from all of the other energy drinks I had tried whether they were from a local store or another mlm company. I liked it first because of the results then I learned it was only $1 a drink. I then went into research mode to see what the low down was on the company and all appeared good.

Jump forward about 10 months and I have dealers all over the country in my group who see the business model and are capturing the vision I am seeing. The company has been in growth mode and is constantly working on improving their image and support services. I give them kudos because they are doing it in increments and not overdoing it, watching the budget, etc.

April 20-21st they will be holding their 2nd annual convention in Dallas, TX. I will be there and will be coming back with plenty of information to share with you. They will soon be releasing A.C.T. in 12 ounce "ready to drink" cans. The weight loss system is also being rebranded and they are working on revamping the websites soon, it is a work in progress as I write this. I do expect to report back to you that I will soon have a new car being paid for by M2C Global as I have my eye on the director promotion soon.

Is MLM a bad word?

I think MLM is a good word. But unscrupulous network marketing companies and distributors combined with anti-MLM zealots have created a negative connotation for the term. It’s too bad because the problem historically—and still today, although less so—are the greedy companies and distributors not the business model.

It’s like saying, “all corporations are bad—just look at Enron!” Most corporations do substantially more good than bad in the world. We just hear about the bad news because it sells better. It’s the same story with MLM.

I choose to reject the negative connotation slapped on the MLM term. If you act as if MLM is a bad word, you contribute to the negative image the anti-MLM crusaders want to paint in the minds of the public. Don’t do that. Talk about and use the term MLM as being the very positive business model it is.

Multi-level marketing is a hugely successful business model that has empowered millions of ordinary people to create a solid part-time income. A few have even made tons of money, but that’s not the “big story” in my opinion. It’s the part-time income potential that has been—and is—MLM’s greatest contribution to the economies of several nations.

A Quick Hello

Recently I was asked by Mark to contribute here and I'm honored to do so. My name is Tim Draayer and I wanted to take a moment to tell you a bit about myself before I get started.

I live in a small town area of Southern Minnesota and I've been a Network Marketer for just over a year now and its been a wonderful experience. I was introduced to Network Marketing by a friend and it didn't take long for me to recognize the potential of the industry.

I've had my trials as I learned the ins and outs of the business but with each passing day my belief in what can happen for people grows. I enjoy helping people and my work with my company (a nutritional foods company), allows me to do just that on two fronts. First, through the use of their wonderful products. Secondly, I'm able to help people with an entrepreneurial spirit to grow their own business and be successful.
